~Character Template~

This is the template you'll use when creating a character for roleplay. If you fail to follow all of the information on the template, your character will probably be declined without question. Feel free to change the formatting, so long as all of the information is present and the requirements are met! To help you along the process, here's some brief guidelines for your characters:

Basic Information
Most of this is pretty self explanatory. Print your character's full name under name, and the nickname field can be left blank if you so choose. Keep the age reasonable, and tell the town as well as Region under birthplace. Any region, including spin-offs such as Orre, Almia, etc. are free game for birthplace, though they aren't open to roleplay at this point in time. You can review the different trainer types here

Physical Information
Most of this is self explanatory as well. Looks can be either a picture or a 3-5 sentence minimum paragraph explaining their physical characteristics. Don't include clothing choices in the Looks section. Common attire are the clothes they wear on a day-to-day basis while formal attire is their Sunday's best, so to speak, and what they wear on formal, dressy occasions. Both of these sections should have at least 1 sentences of explanation.

Personality and Traits
The Personality section should be a minimum of 7 sentences, though more is preferred. This can be how your character acts, their likes and dislikes, etc. There should be at least three strengths and three weaknesses, and a brief explanation of each is greatly appreciated, but not required. The Striving Goal is what is driving your character on their journey, while the greatest fear is pretty self-explanatory. They have no length requirement.

Path of Origins
This section should be where you explain the history of your trainer. You could tell of how they grew up, what sort of family they had, what they did as a kid, major life events, etc. This must be at least 7 sentences, though more is preferred.

Other Notes
Legacies offers quite a bit of freedom in the character creation process, though here are a couple of things to keep in mind:

• Powers and Abilities - Your characters are allowed to have some sort of power or ability, within reason. If you wish for your character to have some sort of an ability, being an empath for example, you would have to fully explain where their power came from within their History. Also, you'd have to add onto the three required personality strengths and weaknesses with additional strengths and weaknesses regarding their powers. (These additional ones will NOT count toward the three necessary personality ones!) If the staff finds a character to be too over powered, or that their ability is ridiculously Mary Sue, we have the right to ask you to alter it or deny an app in its entirety if it doesn't seem to be alter-able. Keep abilities small at first, they can always develop over time!
  
• Cannon Relations - Relations to cannon characters, whether it be anime, game, manga, or anything else is not allowed. However, it is possible to mention or have them briefly appear in the character's history, such as a Researcher character that was inspired by Professor Oak and decided to go into the great Professor's footsteps.
  
• Evil Teams - Similar to cannon relations, it is fine for your character to have some sort of connection to an evil team, such Team Rocket tormenting the town they lived in, or aspiring to one day re-create them or somehow join them. However, your character may NOT start off in any sort of cannon organization or team.
  
• More of these points will be added once they become apparent and needed.
